Job Opportunity: Coordinator, Kingston Community Roundtable on Poverty Reduction

The Kingston Community Roundtable on Poverty Reduction is seeking applicants for the position of Coordinator (term position one year with a possibility of renewal).

The Coordinator supports and coordinates the activities of the Kingston Community Roundtable on Poverty Reduction.

Minimum requirements for this position include an undergraduate degree in a related discipline or an equivalent and three to five years relevant work experience in a coordinating, leadership or management capacity. Graduate degree is an asset. The position requires familiarity with the specific challenges of poverty reduction efforts and knowledge and experience in community development and forming/fostering partnerships. Familiarity with the Kingston context is an asset.

The successful candidate will be able to take initiative in program operations and development and will have effective verbal and written communication skills and an ability to relate with a wide range of people.

The Coordinator reports to the Leadership Group of the Roundtable and is accountable to the Roundtable for program goals.

Competitive salary is commensurate with experience.
